What Should Be Ready Before You Get to Set the Satellite Antenna? by Luckysatr
First, choose a right location to install the antenna.
1.#The antenna should be in the direction of which can receive the signal broadcasted by satellite, and the direction should not be blocked. Otherwise it will affect the signal reception quality. If the condition is more serious, the machine will not be able to receive signals.
2.#Try to avoid wind gap, in order to prevent the damage to the receiving antenna caused by wind weather.
3.#Do not select the highest point, in order to prevent lightning.
4.#Avoid power lines. Avoid power lines and other facilities in order to prevent loss. After selecting the installation site, consider how to install your antenna. Small antenna can generally be fixed to the wall with expansion screw. Fix a large antenna depends on what is the fix form, such as installation of a column and disc form.
Second, choose a right form of antenna fixation
If your site can easily install it, then fix the antenna with expansion crews directly. It is the best condition. If the conditions do not permit, then there are ways: You can use a very heavy iron plate as the foundation which should not be blew away. If it does not work, then you have to send for concrete to make a side table on your own. No matter what the form of columns is used, this can be generally method. This method has the convenient of portable as well. Of course, you need to make it heavy, so it will be stable when exposed to large wind. You can add a plank on the bottom of the basis if you use the disc form.
Third, the tools used for satellite adjusting.
1.#Antenna installation tools, including impact drill, screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammers and other tools.
2.#Carrying the appropriate length of Coaxial Cable and tools used to make coaxial cable connector. This includes the F head, knives and some connector.
3.#The tools used to search satellite, including a small television, a sensitive digital Satellite Signal receiver, remote controller, AV cable. Since you have to fix the LNB when you are searching for the satellite, the expansion screw has already and you don’t have to prepare for that.
4.#Waterproof tape. It will be used in all exposed outdoor connection which may inflow with water. This is very important.
5.#Prepare the power supply and make sure that you have got the wire with an enough length.
